El Proyecto Cervantes radicado en Texas A&M University, Departamento de Estudios Hispánicos , es una iniciativa en la que colaboran la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, el Centro para el Estudio de Bibliotecas Digitales (perteneciente al Programa de Ingeniería de Texas A&M), y el Dr. Fred Jehle de Indiana-Purdue University

The Cervantes Project, housed at Texas A&M University (TAMU), is a joint collaboration of the following organizations:

TAMU Department of Hispanic Studies
Center for the Study of Digital Libraries (CSDL) (part of the TAMU Engineering Program)
Dr. Fred Jehle of Indiana-Purdue University

Objetives:

1) Publish the Cervantes International Bibliography Online, and thel Anuario Bibliográfico Cervantino in Internet,  first studies bibliographies, editions and translations of Cervante´s works.

2) Publish electronic editions of the complete work of Cervantes, with multiple search tools.

3) Create a digital archive of images about the time and work of Cervantes, to put in service of teaching and investigation.

The Cervantes Project is composed of:

Cervantes International Bibliography Online (CIBO)
The CIBO is a comprehensive bibliography of studies, editions, and translations of Cervantes's works.

Cervantes Digital Library (CDL)
The CDL contains several electronic editions of Cervantes's complete works, including flexible interfaces and search engines with multiple options for searching and displaying results. Copies of his comedies, plays, and other related works are located in the CDL.

Cervantes Digital Archive of Images (CDAI)
The CDAI aims to develop a digital archive of photographic images on Cervantes's times and works suitable for teaching and research purposes. The CDAI is currently being revamped for better search capabilities.
