Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacking the barber, who gets himself off his mule to avoid the attack; on the ground, the barber basin.
In the middle ground, Sancho waving to stop his master. In the background, the same barber running away. Accurate to Cervantes' text, it had begun to rain. Poor drawing and rough engraving. |
