Commentary | Don Quixote, knelt, is knighted by the innkeeper; a little crowd observes them (doña Tolosa, doña Molinera and others).
Don Quixote appears without bear or moustache, not as in other illustrations; the three illustrators do not represent don Quixote in the same way. Very free drawing style; in keeping with Romanticism taste; notice the sketched background. |
