Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacking the windmills and Sancho in attitude of praying.
In the background, don Quixote and Rocinante are thrown away by the windmill´s arm. In the middle ground, don Quixote fighting with the Basque by the lady's carriage. Very archaic composition with don Quixote three times represented. |
