Commentary Sancho’s blanketing.
Well-known scene and resolved with little novelty.
Acceptable lithograph.
Notes Copy after Francesco Novelli's plate V for Venice: Alvisopoli, 1818 (and 1819); Berselli has eliminated don Quixote's figure behind the inn wall and a pair of figures.
Novelly's illustration was an inverted copy from Paris: Huart, 1733 (also in Paris: David Fills Damonneville, 1741 engraved by Mathey).
