Commentary In Sierra Morena, Princess Micomicona (Dorotea) kneels before don Quixote begging for his help; Sancho observes them holding Mambrino's helmet (barber basin); also in the scene, the barber (disguised as Micomicona's squire with a fake beard), and the priest and Cardenio (both hidden).
French setting (influenced by Coypel's design; Paris: Surugue, 1723-24); quite acceptable drawing and engraving.
Notes 1 - Captions in French and Spanish.
2 - Compare with Coypel's design (Paris: Surugue, 1723-24).
