Commentary After having been beaten by the groom of a group of silk merchants from Toledo, don Quixote is unable to rise and remains aching and remembering the Marquis of Mantua's story (don Quixote repeats the words uttered by the knight wounded in a forest).
Drawing and engraving are execellent; notice the masterly use of white.
