Setting, drawing and engraving are excellent; illustration in keeping with Romanticism and Doré's liking for Orientalism.
Doré has reproduced the Arab architecture with absolute detail; it could be the Door of the Wine from the Palace of La Alhambra (Granada); Doré visited Spain in 1861-62 and made some sketches of this palace.
