Commentary Don Quixote is taken into a cage ("enchanted") by don Fernando and his companions, don Luis' servants, the officers of the Brotherhood and the innkeeper, all disguised; don Quixote believes that they are ghosts of the castle. Sancho observes the scene in silent.
Very original vision of this scene; notice don Quixote's figure, quite remarkable. 
Notes The scene of this illustration is well-placed f.p. 386 in chapter 46:1 according to the "table des grandes compositions", although in the illustration caption it is said "T. I. CH. XLVII", what is wrong.
