Commentary Don Quixote dying in his bed sane and in peace as Alonso Quijano; around him (from left to right), the barber, the housekeeper, the niece, Sancho, the priest and Sansón Carrasco; in the background, a veiled(?) figure (the notary?); as a symbol of don Quixote's Christian death, he holds a crucifix.
Excellent illustration with good composition; good drawing and engraving too; remarkable figures (dying don Quixote, sobbing Sancho, the niece knelt down and embracing don Quixote, the venerable priest...).
