Commentary | In Sierra Morena, Princess Micomicona (Dorotea) kneels before don Quixote begging for his help; also in the scene, Sancho and the barber (disguised with a fake beard).
In the background, don Quixote's arms still hanged on a tree. Well-known scene and composition, resolved with little novelty. Good drawing and engraving; notice Micomicona's figure, of great beauty, and Sancho's face and expression, resolved with good naturalism. |
