| Commentary | Sancho seizes the packsaddle and gets ready to hit the barber at the same time that this barber seizes him.
In the background, observing them, don Quixote, the other barber (maese Nicolás), don Fernando, the priest and Cardenio. Notice the lack of relation between the characters in the foreground (active) and those in the background (passive witnesses). Drawing and engraving of unequal quality; the figures of Sancho, don Quixote and don Fernando are detailed and quite remarkable. |
