Commentary Sancho makes don Quixote believe that one peasant girl is Dulcinea enchanted.
Illustration based on Coypel's (Paris:Surugue, 1724); turned and with some changes. Sancho's image, laughing, almost reproduces don Quixote's image in Coypel's illustration. Now, don Quixote appears more expressive and ridiculous, gesticulating.
In the background, El Toboso.
Notes 1 - Same plate first engraved for London: Newman, 1839.
