Commentary In the foreground, don Quixote during the vigil of his arms at the inn courtyard; figure immobile and without any grace.
In the background, the muleteer arriving.
Setting in keeping with Romanticism.
Some good engraving details (arms, wall shading...), but only acceptable as a whole. 
Notes 1 - Same plate first used for Paris: Furne, 1858 (also in 1861) copied after the illustration first appeared in Paris: Mequignon, 1821 (and 1822).
