Commentary | Don Quixote, wounded and defeated, returns to his house after his first sally taken by Pedro Alonso on his mule; the niece and the housekeeper appear to take care of him (behind the housekeeper, also the priest?).
Drawing and engraving are excellent; the group of don Quixote, Pedro Alonso (very Spanish) and the niece is specially remarkable. |
