Commentary | Don Quixote and Cardenio meet in Sierra Morena.
Very remarkable representation of both characters; only the figures, without any setting; don Quixote as a venerable old man. Although we can't see Cardenio's face (only his nose and hair) the result is worth noting. Notice Houghton's usual style of long wavy lines. Excellent drawing and engraving. |
