Commentary | Governor Sancho is taken to the palace where he will take dinner (doctor Pedro Recio's episode).
Sancho has been represented with comical dignity (robes, cloak, gesture...); around him, several pages bowing with forced gestures (comical too); some pages blowing horns too. Drawing and engraving are excellent; notice Houghton's usual and characteristic style of long wavy lines. |
