Commentary At Juan Palomeque's inn, the innkeeper enters don Quixote's room and discovers him attacking some wineskins with his sword (asleep, in shirt, with a night cap and his left arm wrapped with blanket).
Meanwhile, Sancho searches Pandafilando's head.
Well-known scene, but this image of don Quixote is very remarkable, expressive and with a well-resolved movement.
Good engraving too; notice the shading.
Notes 1 - Same wooden block first engraved for Paris: Garnier Frères, 1864.
