Commentary | At Juan Palomeque's inn, the innkeeper enters don Quixote's room and discovers him attacking some wineskins with his sword (asleep, in shirt, with a night cap and his left arm wrapped with blanket).
Meanwhile, Sancho searches Pandafilando's head. Well-known scene, but this image of don Quixote is very remarkable, expressive and with a well-resolved movement. Good engraving too; notice the shading. |
