Commentary | Well-known scene; don Quixote encounters a cart with the actors of Las Cortes de la Muerte (Devil, Angel, Cupid, Death, Emperor, Queen and Knight) and a bojiganga frightens Rocinante shaking three blown bladders fixed to a stick.
The scene has been resolved with little humor. Some details are remarkable, as don Quixote's face or the figure of Cupid. |
