| Commentary | During Grisóstomo's burial (center of the composition), Marcela appears on a crag; Ambrosio, Grisóstomo's friend, accuses her of causing his death.
One diagonal (narration) joins these three main characters: from Marcela, through Ambrosio's face and arm, to Grisóstomo. This diagonal keeps in balanced with two verticals (a gravedigger on the left and don Quixote on the right). The scene is observed by Sancho Panza and several shepherds. Drawing and engraving are quite good. |
