Commentary | At the inn, after drinking Fierabrás' balsam, Sancho becomes sick and starts retching; don Quixote justifies it saying that it happens because Sancho is not knighted.
Very original image; resolved with good realism and humour. In the background, the innkeeper Juan Palomeque and his daughter(?) covering her nose. Well-drawn and engraved figures in the foreground; the ones in the background sketched. |
