| Commentary | Don Quixote and the bachelor Sansón Carrasco interrupt their dialogue about the publication of the first part to have lunch together; "Tuvo el bachiller el invite, quedóse, añadióse al ordinario un par de pichones, tratóse en la mesa de caballerías, siguióle el humor Carrasco, acabóse el banquete..." (3:2).
Original choice; traditionally, it has been more represented the previous dialogue (in which Sancho is included) or the dialogue among don Quixote, the priest and the barber (1:2). Excellent drawing/etching style; detailed figures and setting. |
