Commentary | Don Quixote, mounted on Rocinante and completely armed, leaves his house in search of adventures.
Notice don Quixote's armour, like a soldier of the Tercios of Flanders, and some anecdotal-picturesque elements (hens, ducks...). Very idealized image. Good drawing and engraving; well-combined with chromolithography (color). |
