Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote standing on Rocinante with his hand tied to a window; meanwhile, in the background, four travelers (servants of don Luis' father) arrive to the inn.
There's no relation between both moments yet. Drawing and engraving are excellent; very remarkable style. Although the scene is well-known, the illustration is quite interesting; notice don Quixote's representation, almost asleep. |
