| Commentary | Don Quixote and Sancho descry their village from a rising ground.
Sancho, at the sight of it, falls on his knees exclaiming: "Abre los ojos deseada patria, y mira, que vuelve a ti Sancho Panza tu hijo..." (72:2). Drawing and engraving are excellent; although the figures appear with their backs turned on the viewer, their gestures are clear. |
