Commentary Don Quixote stands before a cart with a lion ready to fight against it, but the animal, although the lionkeeper has opened the cage, remains into it yawning.
Well-known scene; resolved with little novelty; however, good gestures and expressions. 
Notes 1 - Copied and re-engraved on wood after Grandville's illustration for Tours: Mame, 1848 (and 1858, 1870, 1877); now without ornamental frame.
