Commentary | The scene is well-known; Dorotea keels down before don Quixote introducing herself as the Princess Micomicona; Sancho and the barber, disguised with a beard, oberve them.
However, this print is quite remarkable because of its marked white and black contrasts; drawing is agile and free, without stopping in too many details. |
