Commentary | Well-known scene, but resolved with Scheurich's original and highly personal style; very influenced by Symbolist Painting.
Deformed figures resolved as pure gestures. Remarkable drawing style, although the action does not result too accurate (according to Cervantes' text, the barber throws himself from his mule to the ground when don Quixote charges against him). |
