Commentary | Don Quixote, knelt, is knighted by the innkeeper, who holds a sword and a book.
Also in the scene, accurate to Cervantes' text, the two party girls (doña Molinera and doña Tolosa) and a boy holding a candle. Remarkable use of light and shadow contrasts; good caricature style; notice the figure of the innkeeper. |
