Commentary At Juan Palomeque's inn, the innkeeper (and his wife?) discovers don Quixote attacking some wineskins with his sword; accurate to Cervantes' text, he is wearing only his shirt and has wrapped his arm in a blanket.
Well-known scene, resolved without great novelty.
Remarkable coloring, good use of light and shadow contrast.
The illustration tries to be "Spanish", but the result is folkloristic.
