Commentary | Don Quixote, standing before the cage of the lion, awaits ready to fight with the animal, but the lion remains inside the cage.
Well-known scene, resolved with certain novelty in its style and point of view (from inside the cage). Remarkable use of wood engraving to create effective black and white contrasts and figures of great volume; notice the use of very fine lines. |
