| Commentary | From the whole episode, a comical/kind scene has been chosen to show the mutual care relation between don Quixote and Sancho.
Don Quixote, after having fought with a flock of sheep, has been stoned by the shepherds; Sancho counts how many teeth remain in his mouth. Neither the previous fight nor the next scene (don Quixote and Sancho vomiting), both scenes of crude humour, were selected. In the background, the shepherds bringing the flock together. Drawing and engraving are very remarkable. |
