Commentary Dorotea recognises don Fernando and Luscinda, who has lost her mask (tafetán), and, knelt before don Fernando, begs him to let Luscinda go with Cardenio; Sancho, the priest and the barber observe them.
"Había en este entretanto vuelto Dorotea en sí, y había estado escuchando todas las razones que Luscinda dijo, por las cuales vino en conocimiento de quien ella era: que viendo que Don Fernando aun no la dejaba de sus brazos, ni respondía á sus razones, fué á hincar de rodillas á sus pies" (36:1).
Drawing and engraving are quite good.
