Commentary | Don Quixote, wounded by the yangüeses, arrives to an inn where the innkeeper's wife and Maritornes take care of him.
The representation of the innkeeper's wife and Maritornes is very remarkable; their suggestive figures create a very humorous scene with don Quxiote looking at one of them with wide open eyes. Maritornes' figure is not accurate to Cervantes' description. Deficient printing. |
