Commentary | Two scenes in the same illustration (archaic):
In the background, don Quixote fighting with Eugenio; around them, the barber, the priest, Sancho, the canon of Toledo and the officers of justice. In the foreground, don Quixote helped by Sancho after having been defeated by one penitent; also the priest talking to the priest of the procession. Simple drawing and clumsy engraving. |
