Commentary | In the center of the composition, Countess Trifaldi showing her beard to don Quixote, amazing him and Sancho.
On the right, the Duchess, ordering two maidens to be quiet, and the Duke. On the left, Trifaldín's figure; it is very remarkable, although he should hold a scimitar, not a mace. Detailed drawing and engraving. |
