Commentary Cervantes'bust in an oval frame. At the bottom, symbolical elements: comedy mask, laurel wreath, lyre, Syrinx flute and crook (Cervantes as a poet); sword and shield (Cervantes as a soldier).
Drawing and engraving are not too good; the face has been engraved clumsy.
Notes 1 - The portrait is based on William Kent's design (London: Tonson, 1738).
