Commentary | Rarely represented scene; the barber falls down from his mule and loses his false beard.
The figures have been placed following a diagonal; from lower left foreground to upper right background: Cardenio and Sancho, mule and the priest, the barber (breaking the diagonal), Micomicona (Dorotea) and don Quixote. Good drawing and engraving. |
