| Commentary | In the foreground, the bojiganga stealing Sancho's donkey.
In the middle ground, the cart with actors of Angulo el Malo's company disguised to perform Las Cortes de la Muerte (Devil, Death, Angel, Emperor, and Knight/Soldier; also Cupid? or Queen?). On the left, Sancho running to help don Quixote (background); the knight is falling with Rocinante. Very simple and undetailed drawing and rough engraving. |
