Commentary In the center of the composition, don Quixote with Mambrino's helmet (barber basin) shouting to calm down the fighting around him (Agramante's Camp); also don Fernando, officers of justice, innkeeper...
On the left, Sancho and the barber fighting for the packsaddle.
Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. 
Notes 1 - Copied after Savery's illustration for Dordrecht: Savery, 1657.
2 - The same plate will be used for Amberes: Verdussen, 1672-73 and later editions.
3 - The illustration has been placed according to its own reference, "Fol. 331", in chapter 30:1 (Libro IV, Parte I, Cap. XXX), but it belongs to chapter 45:1 (Libro IV, Parte I, Cap. XLV), where it appears the illus. "DQ punishing SP" f.p. 536.
