Commentary | After the initial fright, doña Rodríguez returns to don Quixote's room holding a candle and the knight, taking her hand, leads her to a chair next to his bed.
Excellent representation of both characters; doña Rodríguez' face is very remarkable. Accurate to Cervantes' text, don Quixote's head is bandaged. Drawing and engraving are excellent. |
