Commentary At don Quixote's library, the priest, barber and housekeeper reading one of the chivalry books while the niece throws one of them through the window.
Very detailed setting (books, sand-glass, arms...).
Drawing and engraving are especially remarkable; good use of aquatint for shading and carefully-done coloring.
Illustration quite picturesque.
Notes 1 - In this summary, chapter 6:1 has been placed as the first chapter of part II; so this illustration has been placed at the beginning of part II.
2 - Also used as frontispiece for the work Cervantes as a novelist (London: Longman, Hurst and others, 1822).
