Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote ready to fight against a lion, but the animal remains into its cage although the lionkeeper has opened it.
In the background, Sancho, don Diego and the carter running away. Well-known scene and composition; illustration with little novelty. Drawing and engraving are excellent; don Quixote's detailed figure is quite remarkable. |
