Commentary The scene has been resolved with certain novelty; it does not only appears don Quixote's well-known image attacking and destroying the theater, but also Maese Pedro knelt and embracing don Quixote's leg to stop him.
Maese Pedro should wear a patch.
Don Quixote's elongated figure is ridiculous.
Not many characters: don Quixote, Maese Pedro, Sancho and other figure in the background (the bachelor's cousin?).
Good drawing and engraving.
Notes 1 - Same plate first engraved for Paris: Chez Marlin, 1830.
