Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacking the windmill (seen from a low point of view).
In the background, Sancho (seen under Rocinante). Don Quixote's lance is broken and Rocinante almost raised from the floor, but don Quixote has not fallen yet. The windmills are not real Spanish windmills. Good drawing and engraving. |
