Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote mounted on Rocinante and observing Sancho's blanketing from behind the inn wall.
In the background, Juan Palomeque and others blanketing Sancho. Original composition. It was more used the composition created by Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657) with Sancho in the foreground and don Quixote in the background. Accurate details: bottle with Fierabrás' balsam tied to don Quixote's saddle. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. |
