Commentary | Doña Rodrígez, wearing her glasses (anteojos) and holding a candle visits don Quixote, standing up on his bed and wrapped in a blanket (he should be bandaged too), in his room at night.
They both, believing each other to be a ghost, get scared, frightening each other. Good engraving, but both figures are forced; don Quixote's expression is bad. |
