Commentary Illustration chosen with great originality; don Quixote believes that Sancho has gone and returned from El Toboso in so little time because he has been helped by an enchanter friend of him; "¿Sabes de qué estoy maravillado, Sancho? De que me parece que fuiste y veniste por los aires" (31:1).
One more example of Romanticism interest in don Quixote's fantasies.
Notes 1 - Reprint of Johannot's illustration for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
