Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote on Rocinante and Sancho embracing his donkey ("SANCHO PANCA"); don Quixote wears the barber basin on his head.
At each side, "AMADIS" and "ROLANDO", both as sculptures of Roman soldiers on pedestal. In the upper part, a medallion with Dulcinea's portrait ("DULCINEE"). Drawing and engraving are quite good. |
