Commentary Canonical image of don Quixote at his library meditating about chivalry novels.
He is holding his lance; other arms on the floor and on the table.
Good drawing and engraving.
In an ornamental and architectural frame with don Quixote's arms (lance, barber basin, sword, torch...), his own head with straws growing from it (symbol of his madness) and Folly's head; the whole illustration has got a remarkable decorative effect.
